UPS III

The loop calibrator UPS III from GE Druck is on the market still known as the "Unomat". This instrument of Dutch origin is suitable for testing and calibrating circuits, measuring and simulating milliamp signals and measuring volt signals. The UPS III has a range of 0-24 mA and 0-60 V DC. Furthermore, The UPS III can power (24V DC supply) and read transmitters to perform field calibrations. With the built-in 250 Ω resistance it also can be used to test HART transmitters.

With an accuracy of 0.015% of reading including temperature effects and a stability over 12 months, the instrument is about ten times better than the average multimeter. The UPS III is robust and has time-saving features where the user can perform testing with it such as linearity, Zero/Span and valve settings. It is possible to further customize the contrast setting of the display. This instrument is powered by standard AA alkaline batteries.

The UPS III is a rugged and extremely compact loop calibrator with an easy to read display and simple to use time saving features. Measuring 3 in x 5 in (77 mm x 129 mm) and weighing just 9.7 oz (275 g), it fits comfortably in a shirtpocket.
