The new Druck DPI 620 Genii brings you state-of-the-art calibration, communication and data integration using a smart interface with swipe and touch commands for fast, intuitive and intelligent workflow on the move.
The DPI 620 Genii is a flexible modular calibration system that uses three basic components to perform multiple functions that formerly required a wide range of different instruments. The basic component of this system is the DPI 620 Genii multifunction calibrator, a next-generation, ultra-compact, electrical, frequency, and temperature calibrator, which provides simultaneous measurement and source capabilities. If all you need is a calibrator with which to measure mA and V signals and 24V power supply for the purpose of powering transmitters, there is now also the DPI 620 Genii Basic with also Hart communication option.
Pressure measurement is provided by interchangeable pressure modules that can be attached to the calibrator by a pressure module carrier. Inside is a fully functional HART Field communicator, replacing the need for a stand-alone HART communication unit. A Foundation Fieldbus communicator is also available as an option. If pressure generation is required, the calibrator and pressure module can be attached to one of three pressure generation stations, to form a high performance, full-integrated pressure calibrator. The new Genii brings you:
• Accuracy from 0.0025%rdg+ 0.002%FS
• Swipe navigation
• Display themes for fast access to all functions
• Contrast settings for light or dark environments
• Powerful Windows CE (WEC7) operating system
• Full Hart Communicator
• Foundation Fieldbus
• Bluetooth, USB and WiFi as standard
• Robust build, portable and light
• Document library
• Error free reporting
• Free library and software updates
• Multi-function capabilities: electrical, frequency, temperature and pressure
Features
• Complete HART communicator included
• Optional Foundation Fieldbus communicator
• Modular re-rangeable and expandable concept
• Individual components can be used as stand-alone instruments
• Allows significant inventory reductions
• Simplifies training and improves operator safety
• Reduces cost of own
ApplicationsOptional Modules
The GE Druck Pressure Station is available in three models: the PV621G, a pneumatic pressure generator for pressures 95% vacuum to 20 bar; the PV622G, a pneumatic pressure generator for pressures 95% vacuum to 100 bar; and the PV623G, a hydraulic pressure generator for pressures up to 1000 bar. Each GE Druck pressure station is designed for stand-alone operation as a pressure generator and can replace conventional hand pumps to provide greater efficiency and ease of use. The pressure stations can also be used on the workbench as comparators. The GE Druck PM620 Pressure Module features a simple screw fit, making both the pressure and electrical connections without the need for tools, sealing tape, cables or plugs. Digital characterization allows interchangeability without set-up or calibration. GE Druck PM620 pressure modules can be changed in a few seconds to re-range an instrument at a fraction of the cost of a new one.
Modules can be used in conjunction with the relevant pneumatic or hydraulic pressure station and the GE Druck DPI 620 Genii multifunction calibrator to form an integrated pressure calibrator for test and calibration of pressure instruments including transmitters, transducers, switches, gauges, indicators, and recorders. Alternatively, modules can be combined with the pressure station by the GE Druck MC620 module carrier, which adds a dual channel pressure measurement capability that can be re-ranged in seconds.
